Christof Jantzen

Founder and Principal

Chistof Jantzen, AIA, began his career as a designer with Richard Meier in 1993 and worked with Frank O. Gehry in 1994. He then became a partner at Behnisch Architekten in 1999, where he was responsible for the award-winning Genzyme Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts; the 55 Park Street Laboratory Building for Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut; and the Anna Head Student Housing Complex for UC Berkeley. During this time, he further developed his interest in the complexities of technology, sustainability, and architectural expression.

Ryan McGriff

Project Coordinator

Ryan is a 2015, high-honors graduate of Southern California Institute of Architecture. While attending Sci-Arc, Ryan strengthened his education at offices such as Tom Wiscombe Architecture and B+U Architects where he became familiar with large scale projects such as port terminals, museums, and competitions abroad. Part of our team, Ryan has worked on a variety of projects here at Studio Jantzen and with his knowledge gained from a young age he is able to utilize his experience anywhere from competition presentations to construction documents.

Kevin Meffert.png

Kevin Meffert

Graduate Designer

Kevin graduated from the undergraduate architecture program at UC Berkeley in 2015.  Kevin brings great knowledge in computer rendering, model-making, as well as great enthusiasm for architecture, art and sustainability. With his knowledge in construction work, Kevin has constructed and designed various installation projects and distinct furniture concepts.
